|I am Associate Professor at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology at Department of Experimental Physics in the field of nanomaterials synthesis and spectroscopy. In 2003, I got my Master degree in Physics of Solid State in group of Prof. Jan Misiewicz (Laboratory for Optical Spectroscopy of Nanostructures). The title of my work was: "Photoreflectance investigation of InGaAsP laser structures". Since 2004, I have been working mostly with the
"low costs" materials, i.e.nanocrystals, porous materials or sol-gel films. I got my PhD degree based on experimental results obtained for semiconducting nanocrystals
"Optical investigations of silicon nanocrystals and nanocrystals of group II-VI (CdSe/ZnS, InGaP/ZnS) and III-V (GaN, GaN:(Eu3+))". These PhD thesis have been defended
in October 2007 also in Group of Prof. Jan Misiewicz. In 2013 I did my Habilitation degree (Optical properties of lanthnides in inorganic nanostructures), also at the Institute of Physics, WRUT.
At this moment, I am leding research group working on synthesis, functionalization, optical imaging and advanced optical characterization of inorganic nanocrystals undoped or doped with lanthanide ions for photonics and bio-medical applications.
